First Annual General Meeting of Employees in 2025 Commemorative Lecture

18:00 - Special Lecture: Advancing Interprofessional Collaboration Through Serious Games - Yukihide Miyoshi, Department of Pediatrics, Shinshu University School of Medicine
I am a pediatrician specializing in neonatal medicine. Through my many years of experience in neonatal care, I have come to strongly feel the importance of supporting socially isolated expectant and new mothers and children with disabilities. Multidisciplinary involvement is essential for this kind of support, and interdisciplinary collaboration is a crucial key.
How can we clearly communicate the ideal form of support through multidisciplinary collaboration? While exploring ways to achieve this, I found potential in serious games (games aimed at understanding and solving social issues).
In this presentation, I will discuss the process that led to this realization and the future prospects for utilizing serious games.

18:55 - Workshop-style networking event
You will be divided into small groups to reflect on Ms. Mitsusawa's lecture and brainstorm game ideas that might be useful in everyday health and medical situations. At the end of the workshop, everyone will share the ideas that each group has come up with. We also encourage you to enjoy interacting with the YORIAILab staff and clinical trial ambassadors during the group work.
